German Photographer Otto Steinert was the founder and mentor of the Fotoforum group of photographers in 1949. Capturing incredible still of landscapes as well as portraiture, he explored the creative potential of techniques such as long exposures, out of focus imagery as well as some chemical processing operations used to create diverse visual effects. His pioneering photography had a huge impact on contemporary photographic concepts then spread its influence in all directions that came after it; also it used the available technical potential to cause visual changes in the forms of creative artistic expression.
